El presente trabajo analiza la presencia de las minorías en las cuentas de la plataforma de microblogging Twitter de los principales partidos políticos y candidatos que concurrieron a las elecciones generales en España en 2015. El análisis de quién o quiénes constituyen el pueblo, y, por ende, quién no lo constituye, revela cómo se desarrollan los procesos de resemantización del concepto “pueblo” como una de las claves del discurso politico actual. El studio demuestra con claridad las deficiencias desde una perspectiva incluyente del discurso político electoral en España.
In this work we study the presence of minorities in the Twitter accounts of the main political parties and candidates in the Spanish general elections in 2015. We analyse what they mean when they refer to “the people”, and which groups are not included in it. Results show processes of resignification of the word “people”, which is a keys concept in the current political discourse. This research shows that the electoral political discourse in Spain is lacking an inclusive understanding of the society.
